Gilmara and Val welcomed us so warmly. The pousada has a lovely view of the mountains, and breakfast was wonderful, with options for every taste. Our room was very clean and had a TV, minibar and hair dryer. There’s also parking.

From the breakfast area there’s a lovely view of the Serra de São José, and you can spot parakeets and seriemas. Breakfast itself was tasty and varied. Walmira and Gilmara are lovely hosts, and they share lots of tips about places to see and places to eat while you’re having breakfast. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the center on flat ground, an easy stroll. The welcoming staff and on-site parking are a real help in a city where driving downtown is quite difficult. A great place, recommended!

The breakfast was generous and delicious, with everything fresh. The bathroom was wonderful, spacious, clean and nicely decorated, with a hot shower. Both the room and bathroom were very clean and well maintained, and everything was neatly organized. Gilmara and Valmira were warm and thoughtful hosts. The parking was open, so we could come and go whenever we wanted. The pousada is outside the noisy center but close enough to reach on foot or by car.

We loved the pousada. The rooms were very clean, and Valmira and Gilmara were so kind and attentive. We were the only guests when we arrived, so they made breakfast when we woke up to keep everything hot and fresh 😍. Highly recommend!
