Great.

Really bad. The air conditioning didn't work properly, the bed sheets were old and dirty, and the fridge was switched off with no water or soda in it. There were mosquitoes everywhere.

The room was a mess for sleep: there was no bathroom door, hair all over the drain, and the air conditioner dripped onto the bed. Since the room was small, we had to sleep sideways to avoid it. The mosquitoes were awful, and we didn't sleep all night. The air conditioner also took two hours to cool the room. The reception was just as bad. When I arrived to pay and book a room, the receptionist wasn't there, so I had to ring the bell. I heard her complain from inside, "Oh, just when I'm going to take a shower." On our long drive, we had to leave again at 4 a.m. I took my things but forgot my phone, and couldn't get back in because we'd locked up as she asked. She never stays at reception and doesn't leave anyone there to help guests. I rang the bell and clapped for ages, but all she did was shout "Oh my goodness" and "Mercy" without coming to let us in. We were left outside for about ten minutes. We'd stopped at this hotel in Bom Jesus da Lapa on Monday, January 15, while returning from Porto seguro Bahia, because we were exhausted. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

After a day on the road, we paid 120 per couple to stay at this inn, then found there was no hot water in the shower. The receptionist said she couldn't do anything, when you could find her at reception. The cold shower wasn't the only problem, the cleaning and service were disappointing too.
