We loved this place so much that we wanted to stay a second week. The internet kept failing, though. Mateo tried for days to sort it out, but the technician couldn’t fix it. It worked fine near reception, but I needed a strong connection in the room for work. There’s a clean, amazing pool, a very comfortable bed, and the place itself is clean. Breakfast is excellent too. The party noise is nearby but far enough away that it doesn’t disturb you. I’ve seen someone criticize the owners for living at the pousada, but I actually liked that they were around to help keep it safe. Mateo, if I’ve got his name right, is genuine and always ready to help with a big smile. Amazing place.

The pool was incredible, clean and so warm it seemed like it might be heated. The pousada is peaceful, with lots of trees and beautiful nature around it. There were marmosets too, and Seu Ary treated them with care. We stayed for three days with a tour group, and having the pousada to ourselves made us feel even more at ease. From the start, Seu Ary and his family welcomed us with cake and coffee and were so attentive. Our room was clean and smelled lovely. I liked it so much I didn’t want to leave, haha. Thank you to everyone who makes this place so unforgettable. I hope I get the chance to come back someday.
