Pousada Aconchego

There was hardly anyone staying at the inn, just us and one other family, yet they put us in a cramped room at the back, far from everything. A light stayed on all night and shone right into our faces. When I asked the manager if we could change rooms, he simply said they were all occupied. He didn’t put himself in the guest’s place, and I won’t return or recommend the inn. My congratulations to the owner, dona Cármen, who is there at breakfast. She’s very attentive, warm, and organized. Here’s a picture of how “full” the place was.

We were treated very well, and breakfast was good and met expectations. A few ordinary little problems came up, but the managers sorted them out. It’s close to everything, including a market, pharmacy, and restaurants. They deserve congratulations. I’ll definitely be back.

The inn’s best feature is its location. We walked to several beaches, including Sepultura and Lagoinha, and recommend staying here. If God allows, we’ll come back. The reception was a bit chaotic with rooms being switched when we arrived, which gave us a bad first impression. The minibar had a problem, but they fixed it right away. The room was comfortable, with a good bed and shower, a drying rack, individual Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a TV. Breakfast was wonderful, and the attendant was incredibly friendly. Parking is shared and the idea is to leave your car key at reception, which made us uncomfortable. We didn’t use the car, so it worked out fine.

We were in a room at the back of the inn, so it was really quiet. It was clean and lovely, with a wardrobe, drying rack, Wi-Fi, TV, and minibar. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of choices, and the attendant was so sweet. The inn is very close to the beach and in a great location. Parking can feel a bit tight when the inn is full, but it didn’t affect us since we didn’t use the car. I recommend it and will definitely return!
