This was an extremely disappointing stay. The facilities are old and poorly maintained, and the place gives a clear impression of being neglected. The room showed wear everywhere, with doors, walls, and furniture all in poor condition. Cleanliness was one of the biggest problems. The bathroom was visibly dirty, with grime in the corners, dark grout, and an unhygienic appearance. The shower stall and floor didn't look properly cleaned. The sheets were stained and smelled unpleasant, which is completely unacceptable for a place to stay. Breakfast was extremely basic, and the juice was made from powder. That also made the lack of care for guests' experience feel clear. The pousada doesn't meet even the basic expectations for comfort, cleanliness, or upkeep. The photos speak for themselves. I don't recommend it and wouldn't return. Good afternoon. Your response surprised me even more, because I didn't report anything untrue. To start with, I paid R$ 250,00 per night for a “luxury” suite, so that argument doesn't match my booking. The photos make the cleaning issues very clear, and what they show isn't “beach sand.” They show deteriorated silicone around the fittings, built-up dirt, and obvious stains. As for the sheets, that claim isn't accurate either: I brought all my own bedding from home as a precaution. So the existing stains can't be blamed on me. This isn't a matter of opinion, it's about hygiene. Also, the photos on Booking don't show the rooms. It leaves me wondering why, since the reality is very different from what you expect when you arrive. I wasn't expecting luxury or a five-star standard for breakfast. I've stayed at simple pousadas that were clean and organized. Serving powdered juice has nothing to do with the price, it's a basic matter of service quality. I do want to acknowledge that the receptionists were polite and attentive. That was the one positive part of the stay. Otherwise, I stand by everything I've said because it accurately reflects what we found there. I'm not trying to damage anyone's work, just to warn other guests.

The location made getting around easy, with the main beaches and the town center nearby. I also found the shared kitchen practical during the stay. I was told correctly that the 5% card fee only applies when paying in installments, so the price is unchanged when paying all at once. That seemed fair. I had asked about checking in early before booking. Although they told me the standard time was after 3 p.m., I got a message at 12:10 saying my room was ready. That was a real plus. When I arrived, the place was clean and organized, and the service was good. One thing that could be clearer in the listing is the parking. It says “free private parking nearby,” but in practice it's in front of the pousada, with few spaces that are shared in rotation. I'd also suggest keeping a closer eye on the shared kitchen fridge, where there were open and apparently old foods. A note saying that unidentified items or food left for more than a few days will be thrown out might help keep the area tidy and hygienic. I had a good stay and recommend the accommodation.
