ibis Styles Bonito

A pretty, peaceful hotel, with a roomy, clean, and fresh-smelling room that has a kitchen and laundry tub. Breakfast is good too, in the usual Ibis style.

The staff were very attentive, but the place lacked organization. Open TV didn't work in the room, and the TV was off to the side of the double bed. I'd suggest putting it above the wardrobe, by the bathroom entrance. There was dust all under the bed. My apartment went uncleaned for three days. On the last day I complained and asked them at least to take out the accumulated rubbish. They said they didn't clean on checkout day, and when I asked about the manager, I was told he was traveling. It was December, during the busy season, so that was frustrating. They did eventually collect the rubbish. The pool was dirty when I arrived, and I asked them to clean it. They cleaned it that night and a few other times, but it was still badly stained. The children's pool was even closed. One guest left the hotel because there was no way to get in there with a child. Breakfast was average, the mattress was good, and the hotel is a little outside the center, about a 20-minute walk.

Communication was a mess. I was told one thing, then checkout time turned out to be something else. The service was disappointing.

The rooms have plenty of space, and the staff are attentive.
