The staff are so, so nice, and the meals are great. Breakfast is delicious, with eggs, cakes, pastries, and fruit. I would have liked some vegetables like tomatoes or cucumber too, since the food leans heavily toward dairy and meat. The hotel has several buildings with spacious rooms, plus a separate area with a pool, workout space, massage, and sauna. The equipment is basic, but having those facilities is a nice touch.

I had a really enjoyable stay. The gardens are full of flowers and well cared for, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is good, breakfast has a great selection, and it's close to town. There's also a tourist office on site for booking activities. The staff were friendly even though I don't speak Portuguese. The shower could use more pressure, and the Wi-Fi connection was poor.

I booked without hearing much about the hotel and worried it might not have much to offer, but I was wrong. It's probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at within walking distance of downtown Bonito, and I think it's the best value in Bonito. There are prettier hotels, including some with private pools, but they don't have as many green trees or the same pleasant atmosphere, kind and helpful staff, polite guests, delicious meals, or large, comfortable rooms. That includes the free Pantaneiro lunch break at 4:30PM. I'd say go ahead and book it. I'll definitely come back.

The rooms are pretty good, and the main square is an easy walk away. We spotted several kinds of birds, including a pair of toucans that flew into the yard and started feeding while we were having breakfast. Some staff don't speak English, but we didn't find that much of a problem.

A good-value stay that works well for families. The rooms are in separate units, which is nice. Just wish they served food beyond breakfast.
