Pousada Tapajós

Great hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. The pousada is cozy, breakfast is delicious, and what won me over most was how thoughtful everyone was. We'd booked a smaller double room for a week, and they moved us to a bigger one at no extra cost. On our first day out, we got back late and I asked if there was any coffee left. They made some right away, even though I said they didn't need to. Every afternoon after that, there was coffee waiting for us because they knew we liked it. One day I mentioned that I liked cupuaçu, and the next day they made a cupuaçu smoothie, haha. Everyone was wonderful. We'll stay there again when we come back to Bonito. We loved it and recommend it to everyone. 10/10! ❤️

The staff were especially thoughtful at the end of our stay. After checkout, they let us keep our bags there and use the facilities while we waited for our transfer. They also helped arrange a tour and sort out the voucher through an agency, which saved our last day. We were very grateful. The inn has a cozy, rustic style, with a Bonito inner courtyard. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of fruit, sweets, and traditional chipas, and it started early enough to fit our tour schedule. There were only a few hangers in the bathrooms, and the mattress was hard. In our room, birds moved around in the ceiling and made noise, shaking dust onto the sheets. It’s a good walk to the center, and the route back at night is really dark. That’s a relative downside since the inn is close to some tours and near the town entrance, surrounded by nature. There’s also a hospital nearby, so anyone who wants a little sign of civilization may find that reassuring.

Adriana was so lovely, and breakfast was delicious, with lots of fruit and juice. The inn is simple, pretty, and cozy. It’s not right by the little town center, but it isn’t far either, which helps keep the noise down.
