Casa Peroba Maragogi

The house itself is good, but we ran into one problem after another once we settled in. The air conditioner kept breaking, the shower didn't work, and the electrical system was in very poor shape, so we had to take cold showers. The toilet wouldn't flush, which meant carrying buckets of water every time we needed to use the bathroom. The sink also leaked, soaking the whole bathroom whenever I washed my face or brushed my teeth. On top of that, the pool water was green for three days, so we couldn't use it.

The people who looked after the house made us feel so welcome. My thanks to Auricélia (Proprietaria), Beatriz (Gerente da Propriedade), and Paula, who greeted us. When I think about Maragogi (Alagoas), this is where I want to stay. I can't imagine choosing somewhere else. Casa Peroba has everything you need to enjoy yourself without missing the things you left back at home. The house is airy, with spacious bedrooms that all have en-suite bathrooms, a garden and pool area, and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s a blender, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and two freezers, including one right by the pool. Everything feels thoughtfully arranged and well cared for. They even have mosquito swatters, which I ended up needing!

The house is wonderful and very practical. It has everything you need, so you can just arrive and enjoy a few lovely days without worrying about bringing anything. Paula welcomed us, and she was responsible, punctual, and a great cook. Really great, I recommend it 1000%.

The house looks nice, but it was dirty, and the pool was dirty too. The shower didn't work, the street was full of mud and potholes, and the bed linens were in terrible shape. The barbecue area had no basics like a board or knife.
