Breakfast has lots of food and drink to choose from, and the rooms are comfortable with free WiFi. A great place to stay in Bonito.

We had a great stay at Pousada Jarinu and I'd happily recommend it. I tried to write this as an ordinary, realistic review, since reviews often seem to come either from very excited people or very demanding ones. The location is a big plus: everything in the center is about 200 meters away, so you can get around on foot. The team was warm and helpful, too. Sometimes nobody was right behind the reception desk because the sun comes through the window so strongly, but they were always just a few steps away and ready to help. We spent several days there and found plenty of variety at breakfast, with different things to eat each day and generous servings. There’s also an open fridge where guests can take drinks at any time and let the staff know afterward. That trust-based system is very convenient. The air conditioning worked really well in the heat, and there's a fan in the room as well. The pool is a nice size for unwinding after outings. My favorite part was relaxing in the water while dozens of parrots and other birds perched in the trees and by the pool to drink and rest. The rooms are spacious. The electric shower worked well and could be adjusted from cold to quite hot. The water pressure wasn't especially strong, though it was perfectly fine for the region. Bonito feels very peaceful and safe, and the inn felt safe as well. There's a large barbecue area, although we didn't use it. We were treated very well and will definitely come back on our next trip to town.

The place itself was clean, with a comfortable room, a good shower, a nice pool, and a simple but tasty breakfast. It’s near the main avenue, so street noise at night might be an issue, especially in a room with a balcony facing the road. We stayed for a weekend and arrived Saturday afternoon to a very grumpy woman who barely managed a hello. A place offering this kind of service should at least be polite and explain how things work. Nobody needs to put on a smile, but basic courtesy and communication matter.
