Pousada Segredo

I gave Pousada segredo three stars, though it's hard to sum up the experience that way. The location is excellent, close to the center and across from restaurante casa do João, which was my favorite place to eat. In my opinion, the parmegiana and Pintado ao molho de urukum are 10/10. The pousada is also on the same street as Bacuri, where the cupim de colher is excellent and would rank second or third for me. The staff were attentive and the service was very good. The room was simple and reasonably clean, with an okay shower. I would have liked a mosquito screen so I could leave the window open. Privacy was fine upstairs, but limited downstairs. The pool could have been cleaner. Breakfast was basic, and the bread could be better. The property also needs more upkeep: the chairs and outdoor area could be cleaner, and some loungers by the pool would be welcome. Still, if you don't mind a simple place and want a good price and location, it should meet your needs.

The pousada is simple, but it's very clean and well organized, and the service was great. Jhonatan at reception was always attentive and ready to help. The woman at breakfast was friendly every time, and the cleaner was lovely too. Congratulations to the whole team for taking such good care of me during my stay. Wishing you all the best, and I hope you keep giving guests such a good experience.

Comfortable room, huge bathroom, and a welcoming, well organized pousada. It's charming in its simplicity, with comfort and good service clearly a priority. Breakfast is included, freshly made every day, and delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the owner is always checking that everything is okay. We're leaving tomorrow morning, but we already know we'll stay here again on next year's vacation.

Everyone welcomed me so warmly, from reception and the kitchen to the cleaning staff. They were really attentive, and the place was clean and smelled nice. Breakfast was tasty too. Since they also run a tourism agency, they helped me find some tours that fit into my last-minute itinerary.
