The pool on the top floor has lovely views, and the restaurant is well worth a visit. My room and the hotel were spotless, and the staff were happy to help. I had a great stay.

We needed somewhere to use during a long stopover, but couldn’t find a day-use option on the usual booking sites, so I called the hotel directly. The hotel was very nice, thoughtfully designed, and spotless, just what I’d expect from Mercure.

The breakfast was plentiful, the rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were really friendly. It seems like a good place even for a longer stay.

I wouldn’t return after this stay. My room had a visible hole in the back door that led outside, and the shower head wasn’t attached. The safe took more than a day to fix, while the TV and Wi-Fi were out for a significant part of my stay. What bothered me most was a surprise R$430 charge for a friend who stopped by for drinks one night. The same friend had visited on two earlier nights without any warning or issue. Nobody explained a clear policy at check-in, and I only learned about the charge when reception suddenly billed me. It seemed arbitrary and unfair. Receptionist Ethan said a manager had probably approved it, but wouldn’t get one when I asked. I brought these problems to the staff and emailed the hotel, but got no apology, explanation, or compensation. They admitted it was their fault, yet wouldn’t do anything about it. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
