Hotel Hellyu's

The location was great, and the rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was great too, and the staff were all really polite and kind. An excellent hotel.

The hotel was clean, with good beds and a good shower, and the man at reception was polite. But the air conditioning in reception and the breakfast area was awful. The breakfast itself was worse, and the woman from Maranhão working at breakfast and reception in the morning was rude. She got annoyed when my husband asked her to make scrambled eggs for our son and wanted to charge us by Pix. Later she told my whole family to shut up because we were watching TV and talking at the same time. She said other guests were sleeping because they were going to have surgery on a Sunday morning, then told us to leave breakfast at 9:20 even though it ended at 10. She isn't prepared to deal with guests and has no manners. We paid R$ 560 for four people to sleep there for one night. It's shameful. I don't recommend this hotel at all, and I want to complain to Procon because I couldn't get breakfast for my son. There's no parking, and there are better hotels two streets up.

A nice, clean hotel for the price. Restaurants, markets, and a bakery are all nearby.

I found everything really clean, which matters most to me in a simple hotel. My room was in the newly renovated area. It was small but had what I needed, including air conditioning, a minibar, Wi-Fi, and a TV. The bathroom wasn't cramped, and had an electric shower and a glass enclosure. The breakfast was modest, as you'd expect at a simple hotel, but there was more than I expected. The service was very good, with friendly, humble people. Some reviews criticize things that don't really fit this kind of hotel given the nightly rate. You won't find luxury here.
