Pousada Recanto das Maritacas

The quiet was lovely, with only birds singing in the morning, and Marilda was wonderful: attentive, polite, and full of good suggestions for outings. She did all she could to make us comfortable and help however possible. The inn is about a 10-minute drive from central Brotas, across the highway and outside town, so staying here without a car isn't practical. Our room was spacious and clean, with a minibar, air conditioning, basic TV channels, good Wi-Fi, and a good shower. The small pool was nice for the end of the day. Breakfast had the basics to start the day, including cakes, fruit, juice, cold cuts, and different breads. The one issue was the mattress. It sank when we lay down, but we managed by folding blankets and putting them underneath.

Marilda and her sister Michele were cheerful, polite, and attentive. The rooms and bathrooms are huge, and breakfast was wonderful. The place exceeded my expectations and gave me my best experience in Brotas.

Marilda was so welcoming and wonderful. She cared about every detail and was especially kind because I was sick before the trip. The rooms are huge, spotless, and well organized, and the service was so good I can only say thank you. Every cent was worth it, and we'll definitely come back 🩷

Marilda and her sister Michele were polite, attentive, upbeat, and treated us so well. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. An excellent stay, and I'd definitely recommend it!
