The breakfast was divine, with plenty of variety, fresh food, and careful preparation. On our last day, they kept our luggage without any fuss, so we could enjoy Brumadinho right up to the end. Hostel Lares is in a central spot, handy for walking around the village and getting to the main places nearby. The facilities are well cared for, practical, and comfortable from the moment you arrive. The team were attentive, available, and efficient, with useful local tips whenever we needed them. Check-in was quick and simple, with no bureaucracy, which makes a difference after a long trip. A five-star stay, we recommend it 👍

We came as a group of 19 from Uberaba for the race at Inhotim in August 2025, and the whole hostel was ours! It was such a wonderful experience. The space felt cozy, colorful, fun, and really special for our group. I stayed in the room with the whirlpool tub ❣️. The whole hostel has a theme and is super Instagrammable, and you can leave your own little message on the wall. We all loved it!!!

The welcome was warm, the service thoughtful, and the location excellent. The atmosphere was cozy, with a wonderful energy. It makes such a difference when people look after you with care and dedication. I’m grateful for all the little details, the smiles, and the heartfelt hospitality. Tatiana was proactive, friendly, and flexible about my check-in and check-out because of my flight times. We arranged it over WhatsApp, and it worked out perfectly. The hostel is close to a supermarket with a 24-hour ATM, and not far from the bus station. The street is busier during the day but very quiet, almost deserted, late at night. I stayed in the shared Mezanino Casa da Árvore room, which was very comfortable. Bedding was included, and fans were available, though the room was already well aired. The front garden, back deck, laundry, kitchen, bathrooms, and rooms were all clean and well maintained. The place feels cozy, almost like home, with walls covered in messages and art left by past guests. I'd happily recommend staying here.
