Mr. Carlos was the highlight for us. He was polite, attentive, available, empathetic, and full of useful local knowledge. We felt right at home, and even his dog was gentle and well behaved. On our last day I got really sick, and without hesitation Mr. Carlos drove me to the hospital in his own car. I'm very grateful for that, and the stay is well worth it even aside from that experience. The location is excellent for quickly getting to Búzios, Arraial, and Cabo Frio. The accommodation was organized and especially clean, with all the appliances and utensils we needed. The beds were comfortable for our group of four, with a double bed and a bunk bed. The pool area is simple but clean and tidy, and the pool is a good size and very well maintained. I'll definitely return.

The inn is in a peaceful, cozy spot, great for resting and catching up on sleep. Carlos welcomed us and was really attentive and nice. He shared several local tips, including a beautiful sunset at Porto da Barra. I absolutely recommend it, and we'll come back next time. I gave five stars only because that's the maximum, they deserve more.
