Pousada Do Bispo

The breakfast was delicious, and the whole place was so welcoming and cozy, with everything clean and smelling fresh. It’s a great spot if you want to relax. Simone and Rafael gave me a really warm reception, and I had a wonderful stay!

We were on vacation as a couple and felt right at home. The hostess really cares about the guests’ comfort, and everyone was so hospitable. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and asking to have it on the veranda was a great call. The pousada was recently renovated, and the room was serviced daily with fresh towels. There’s Wi-Fi, water whenever guests ask for it, a full pitcher in the minibar, and a hair dryer in the bathroom. They also lend out umbrellas, chairs, and bikes, as long as you don’t ride the bikes on the sand. There are nearby shops for things like paint and gas, plus a health clinic and Caixa and BB banks. The market and restaurants are a bit too far to walk to. We loved the experience.

The hostess was very friendly, and the place has a great story, lots of plants, and decor that feels carefully thought through. The resident animals are well cared for and interact pleasantly with guests. Breakfast is served in the room by default, though you can ask to have it in one of the lovely corners of the house. They lend out beach chairs and bicycles, and there’s also a beautiful jacuzzi, but it costs extra and I thought the price was a little high. My room had a comfortable bed, a TV with lots of channels and Netflix, a good-sized bathroom, and a nice shower. You get a gate key, so you can come and go freely, and there are plenty of cameras, which made the stay feel safer. It’s a comfortable, quiet place at a good price. My only suggestions for improvement are the toilet paper quality and the smell of the towels, which I think may be from the fabric softener. Even so, I thought the place was wonderful and would return.
