We picked it because it was near the coach station, Estação Rodoviária. It's just an okay hotel. They seem to be refurbishing the place, so breakfast wasn't available while we were there. Service was hit or miss.

Awful. When I went to see the room, they told me there would be construction because the sidewalk was broken, leaving the septic tank and sewage exposed. This had been going on for about 20 days. I stayed 10 nights and had cold showers on five of them. I even changed rooms to get a hot shower, and the key fell out four times in about 10 minutes. When I went to do laundry, I came across a rat near the kitchen. The air conditioner dripped and threw out ice. Just awful.

The rooms are pleasant, and the inn itself is fine for an overnight stay. The night receptionist was especially kind and generous. But I wouldn't stay here for more than a few days because of the owner, who I found unethical and unprofessional. I spent 28 days there, and the owner's lack of professional ethics made it an unpleasant experience. I'd only recommend it for a weekend at most.
