The beach in Cabo Frio is better than Capacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, and Leme in Rio de Janeiro. The place is clean, friendly, comfortable, secure, and fun, just two short blocks from the beach. Good restaurants and bakeries are right next door. Breakfast is good, with CAFE DE MAHNA in Portuguese and eggs made to order. The desk clerks speak English and Spanish.
