There’s plenty of room to walk around, and the owners make you feel cared for and look after your stay. It’s a cozy, quiet place close to Praia do Pontal do Peró.

Breakfast had few choices, was very basic, and was the same every day. I don’t recommend this place and won’t return. It was the worst experience I’ve had, wasn’t worth the price, and there are better options if you look around. We had one problem after another during our stay. The room we got on arrival wasn’t the one agreed on over the phone. It faced the kitchen window, so all the smells came into the room. The shower was broken. They replaced the heating element, but the shower was still awful, smelled burnt the whole time, and the water was yellow and had a terrible odor. The bath towels were tiny and so poor quality they scratched my skin. Cleaning was awful too. There was bat droppings beside the bed and on the sheet. They told me it was lizard droppings, which clearly it wasn’t, but whatever it was, it shouldn’t have been there. The room should’ve been cleaned before a guest arrived. The air conditioner was old and noisy, so you either slept hot or didn’t sleep because of the sound. When we came back from the beach, the shower near the pool for rinsing off sand was gone, and there was no water at the pousada. The residents and the owner got into an argument about it. The pousada’s second floor is residential, and we guests were standing there covered in sand, watching the argument and waiting for them to sort it out.
