Hotel do Feijão

Really great.

Fantastic.

We mainly chose this hotel for its location in Cachoeira Paulista. We’re here for New Year’s Eve, and with the place so busy, there aren’t enough parking spaces for all the cars. They suggested leaving ours in a vacant lot next door. We were also given just one key for the apartment. The dinner menu has few choices, and they charge children the full, high price. There seem to be too few staff for the number of guests. Facilities include a small pool and a playground, but for what you get, it doesn’t feel like good value.

We were coming back from aparecido in the heat, all looking forward to a swim and some time to relax. Instead, the pool was dirty, unmaintained, and unusable, even though I’d paid more because of the leisure facilities. I complained at reception and was completely ignored. Asking to speak to the manager got the same response. Breakfast was mediocre too; the scrambled eggs looked like they’d been sitting in the tray for ages, and nothing made the price feel worthwhile. I didn’t like this hotel, won’t return, and wouldn’t recommend it, especially to anyone looking for recreation. We’d have been better off at the inn we usually stay at, which has no leisure area but charges a fair price and serves a very good breakfast.
