The rooms are basic but cozy, and breakfast was generous and tasty. We had a delicious handmade loaf of bread, too. It’s about a five-minute walk to the village center, along streets with plenty of restaurants and shops. From the moment we arrived to check in, the owner’s warm, attentive manner made us feel at home. He has such contagious energy and makes guests feel completely at ease. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A simple, welcoming place for anyone wanting to enjoy the island while saving on lodging. Breakfast isn’t included, but it’s worth paying extra for Ed’s coffee. Ed, the owner, was very attentive and helpful, and Dona Helena was thoughtful and caring. We had a wonderful stay at this hostel.

Ed, or Edy, owns the hostel and is incredibly friendly and attentive. He speaks Spanish perfectly, which we really appreciated, and his mother, Doña Helena, is there too. They’ve made the place feel comfortable in all the ways you’d expect at home, especially in the kitchen. It’s around a ten-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of shops nearby. They can also make you a good breakfast if you want one. I highly recommend it.
