The owners respond quickly when you ask for something, and breakfast is simple but prepared with care using fresh items. It’s an easy-to-reach pousada in a very convenient location. The setup is basic, but it works well as a quiet place to sleep, and the bed is comfortable. The shower is good and everything works, though the bathroom could use small additions like towel and clothes hooks. A couple of minor fixes would help too, such as repairs to the air conditioning and the room’s minibar. All in all, it’s a great-value option in Morro, especially compared with the higher prices at many other places.

The pousada was great apart from a few problems. There wasn’t enough bedding, just one sheet to cover up with, and breakfast was disorganized because new guests were arriving and heading straight to eat. The shower gave me an electric shock if I didn’t wear flip-flops. The minibar in the room was faulty and made a deafening noise.

My experience was awful. The bathroom door in my room wouldn’t close, and the room door made noise whenever it opened or shut. The bathroom didn’t look clean, and the toilet paper was the cheapest kind. Breakfast was very basic. I put on foundation and lipstick before going out, and when I came back there was only a tiny mark of each on the sheet, but I still had to pay $100.00. Be very careful not to get the sheets dirty while using the bed.

The breakfast was simple, but tasty and made with care. The facilities are basic, though that doesn’t mean they couldn’t be better. My room was dusty, the toilet had no lid, and there wasn’t any toilet paper in the bathroom until the second day. Getting there through alleys and narrow lanes feels strange, though it seems common for the area.
