I loved waking up to the birds and sitting in the peaceful garden to watch hummingbirds feed on the flowers. The included breakfast was simple but enough, and the pool was clean, a must on hot island days. You do have to pay to use the kitchen. I spent five days at almaviva, and the stay was spectacular, better than I expected. The house was clean, modern, and comfortable, in a perfect location. The hosts were very friendly and gave great suggestions for places to eat and visit. If you want somewhere comfortable, clean, and modern, I recommend almaviva 110%. Thanks, guys!

The only small issue was the lovely old bed in our room. It made some noise and felt a little small for a tall Dutch person, though it wasn’t a problem, and the host compensated us for the discomfort. They handled the situation really well. The owners do their work with kindness and care, and our room was VERY CLEAN. It was cleaned daily, and the bed was made with care. The garden is an oasis, the pool is a nice extra, and the location is really good. The house has lots of character. Almaviva was our first pousada of the holiday, and we wish we could’ve stayed longer. I’d definitely come back. I recommend Pousada Almaviva with a smile, because that’s what I feel when I think of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Alma Viva. The peaceful setting, beautiful garden, and great location all stood out. The rooms were very comfortable, the house was beautifully decorated, and the hosts were great. Highly recommended.
