I barely slept while I was there. My room was beside the restaurant, and the cleaning went on until 3-4am with awful noise. I asked the man at reception to move me, but he refused. When I asked for a refund, he said I’d have to speak with the manager in the morning. The manager then told me I should have requested another room, even though I had. The rooms were dirty and noisy, the service was bad, and the whole stay was awful.

The location is a 10, and breakfast was great. My wife and I had a wonderful stay at pousada ilha do sol, especially in room nm 25, which had a lovely balcony facing the sea. We’re grateful to our Lord Jesus Christ, and to Sr João, who was fair and polite and gave us such a wonderful room. God bless him. Samuel and Ryan at reception were great, as was another employee whose name I’ve forgotten. The cooks serving breakfast and the housekeepers were all professional. Our room was cleaned every day, and the sheets were fresh and smelled lovely. Thanks to everyone at the pousada, and a big hug to Sr João. God bless you always. Until next time, if God wills.

They even left a big cake in our room and decorated the bath towels for my birthday. That was such a lovely surprise during our four days in Morro, and we were very happy with our stay. The service from Rafael, Sr João, the owner, and the rest of the staff was fantastic. The pousada is right in the center of morro, in a privileged area, with a great setup, good rooms, and a delicious breakfast. Thanks and congratulations to everyone. We’ll definitely be back!

The rooms and bathrooms could use renovation, and the mattresses weren’t comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of tasty options, and the location made the stay easy. Updating the rooms would make the experience much more satisfying.
