Pousada Manhã Dourada

The location of the side rooms is rough: they're tiny, with the bed taking up nearly all the space, and the window looks onto a neighboring building's wall just half a meter away. The bathroom is also tiny and has no ventilation. Air conditioning units from the building next door are practically against the window, making noise day and night. The suite is an okay size and has a spectacular view, but it should at least have a wardrobe and chairs on the balcony. For a beach hotel, providing just one beach towel per apartment isn't enough, and sheets are changed only every two days. There's no breakfast, which wasn't clear on the website or in the booking confirmation. The staff were very rude and the cleaning was poor. Disappointing.

The sea-view rooms are incredible, and the service is very good. The pousada has an exit to the street and another straight onto the beach, and there's a menu for ordering drinks and snacks. There isn't any breakfast, though, and I missed having it. I bought some groceries and kept them in the fridge so I could make my own first meal of the day. Apart from that, nothing but praise.

The pousada is small but well located, and our sea-view room was roomy and comfortable. The owner is a distinctive character and a really nice guy. 'Ortobom', the young man who tidies the room, was very attentive. They weren't serving breakfast when I visited. The only downside was construction happening next door.

Our go-to in MSP will always be pousada manhã dourada. Danilo is a thoughtful host who is always ready to help and share information. The pousada is new and clean, in a great location, and has all the accessories you need. Everything we asked for was taken care of by the terrific team, with warmth, speed, and care. It was perfect and went beyond what we expected. Congratulations!
