The peaceful setting and reliable Wi-Fi made it easy to relax after days out exploring. Pousada Sol e Mar also had a spacious, clean, comfortable room with charming decor, and it was cleaned daily, which made me feel at home. Breakfast deserves a special mention, with a wide choice and very good food, a lovely start to each day. The location was perfect for my stay in Morro de São Paulo. Set on the third beach, for example, "a few steps from Praia da Primeira" and with easy access to the island's sights, getting around was convenient. The staff were impeccable, welcoming me with warm smiles and always ready to help or share useful information about the island. My stay at Pousada Sol e Mar was memorable, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay on the island. I can't wait to return. Thanks to the team for making the trip unforgettable.

The location is fantastic, across from Terceira, with great restaurants next door. We stayed as a family, and couldn't have been happier. The inn is simple but welcoming, and the staff looked after us very well. They even helped us while we were searching for an inn and choosing tour agencies. We heard it's under new management. The rooms were clean, and the bedding was fresh and smelled nice. Mosquitoes were the only nuisance, but that's normal for the area. Breakfast was simple but varied, and we left completely satisfied. I'd definitely recommend it, and we'll be back. Hugs to everyone at Sol e Mar.

We were really bothered by the mosquitoes. There isn't a bathroom window, so they get in, and the bedroom's glass panel lets in a lot of light at bedtime. A blackout or dark film would help. We put up a towel, which made it much better. The inn is simple but cozy, on the third beach in Morro de São Paulo and very close to the natural pools. Those pools are wonderful, and they were our favorite. Breakfast was very good with lots of options, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Everything else was top-notch.

We had a terrible stay. On arrival there wasn't a single person at reception to help us, and we waited there for quite a while. The reception was often empty, anyone could walk in, and security felt nonexistent. I checked myself in without even identifying myself. Our first room was awful. There was no water in the shower or sink, even though the rest of the inn had water, and we had to spend a night there with our family. We moved upstairs the next day. That room was a little better, but the air conditioning was poor and the bathroom door stuck, making an ear-splitting noise whenever it opened or shut. The sheets and towels were dingy. Breakfast was simple, but that doesn't excuse neglecting guests. During the whole week, the bread was never fresh, except for the homemade bread, and the mini savory pastries were from previous days. A real letdown. We were unlucky to stay here. 123 milhas, wake up!

Awful. The bathroom was tiny, the toilet sat very close to the sink and was loose, and the plastic pull-cord flush tank was gross. The bath towels were old and worn, with a hole in one. I wouldn't even use torn towels at home. The doors were old and unpainted, as if they'd been picked up from the trash. The sheets were thin, old, and wrinkled. We asked for a blanket and got another worn, old one. Breakfast was very basic. I asked for eggs, but the woman said they were out. The inn is behind another inn. It wouldn't have been my choice, but I had the bad luck to buy one of those PROMO deals from 123milhas. Morro de São Paulo is beautiful, and there are wonderful inns there. I just got unlucky.
