The little welcome details were something else. When we arrived, the team greeted us, and we could toast with someone we love. Our bags were already in the room before I even saw them leave reception. The air conditioning was set to the temperature we’d requested, our favorite song was playing on the TV, and there was an amazing surprise: a color print of our photo, made while we were still on the road. I had no idea they’d do that. The whole white building really does feel like a Greek setting, and all the apartments face the pool. Some have their own pool, others a private whirlpool, and there’s a spa too. On top of that, there are five more whirlpools around the property, and they’re heated. The king bed in our apartment was wonderful, and the linens were high quality. There’s a free golf cart ride to the beach. The staff are always smiling, too. Breakfast was another highlight, especially the waffles. We had some with Nutella, plus omelets and eggs, all made fresh. In the late afternoon, they also serve complimentary tea with savory and sweet snacks, freshly made coffee, and a selection of teas. The location is well placed, away from the noise but still walkable, about 300-500 meters away. Pro Mero Boutique Hotel is really worth a visit.

We were really disappointed by the difference between what was sold and what we got. Only after arriving did we find out the hotel was under renovation and that we couldn’t use the sauna or massage services. Nobody mentioned that when we booked. The beach bar was also closed for one of the days of our stay, which we hadn’t been told at reservation time. When we needed the transfer to the beach bar, which the hotel was supposed to provide, we were told it wasn’t running because the driver had the day off. We couldn’t use the hotel pool either, since construction workers kept walking through and there was no privacy. The electric shower gives shocks. The room is extremely small, with nowhere to dry wet clothes. They offer all these things, charge a lot, and then don’t deliver. This stay was a huge disappointment. I won’t be back and can’t recommend it.

The service is very personal, and the team takes great care of the guests. Everything is spotless, and the bedding and towels are top quality. Breakfast has lots of great options, and the pool music is tasteful and relaxing. There’s also a golf cart to take guests to the beach during the hottest part of the day. Wonderful hotel.

We had a good experience until I realized they don’t take proper care of things guests leave behind. I forgot a pair of glasses and imported perfume in the room, and they said they hadn’t seen them. That felt careless, unless someone was acting in bad faith.
