Pousada Al Mare

I had to leave less than three hours after arriving. The rooms had no furniture, there was no shower enclosure, and the place felt like a shack. The parking area is a sand pit where your car can get stuck, and only the owner can get it out. The pool in the photos wasn’t the real one. The actual pool was dirty and made of PVC. The place was dirty and in very poor condition. Even though I left after three hours and had to find another inn, the owner refused to refund the nights. I’ll count it as charity, since this person seems to be taking advantage of guests by advertising an inn that doesn’t exist as shown. It’s a house converted into four guest rooms, but the rooms look like a shack. Be careful if you’re thinking of staying here. It’s a fraud, and the photos don’t reflect reality.

I told the property in advance that I wouldn’t be coming and asked to waive the cancellation fee. They agreed in our messages, but didn’t approve my request in the app, marked me as a no-show, and charged me for the full stay I never used. I’ve been trying to get help from booking for weeks. They contact the property and get a different answer from the one I receive. Now the property has started ignoring me. I send message after message, they read them and don’t reply. To me, that’s acting in bad faith, cruel and cowardly, and making a fool of me. Friends, pay close attention to the address. If you make the same mistake I did, you’ll be at the mercy of unkind people.

The place has only recently opened, and it’s well equipped. The staff are attentive and do what they can to make your stay pleasant. Good breakfast, a great bed, and air conditioning. Recommended!
