The place was lovely, and I really enjoyed my stay. It’s right beside the bus station and about a 10 minute walk from the beach and the little village. The room felt cozy, and the property itself was beautiful. I got a warm welcome from the young man at reception, who was usually there in the afternoon and evening. I think his name was Bruno, and he was attentive and very welcoming. The pool was dirty and could use more attention, though that may have been because of the strong winds.

The staff were helpful and the rooms were spacious. The pousada is just a few meters from the beach and made for a great stay. Breakfast was generous too. I liked it!

The place seems new, and everything felt that way, from the equipment and beds to the pool and the hammock area for relaxing. The rooms are very spacious, the staff are polite, and breakfast was really good. They make scrambled eggs and tapioca fresh to order. The main street with shops and restaurants is around 600 meters away. It’s an easy walk, and the town seems quite safe.
