Ecologic Ville Resort & Spa

The hotel doesn't match the pictures. The buildings are old and really need updating.

The pools were fine, and we liked the room, but there were several problems. Our rooms weren't booked even though we'd reserved them four weeks ahead, and we had to insist repeatedly to get them. The Wi-Fi was awful, and outside breakfast it was almost impossible to get coffee. There was no kettle in the room or plug for the sink. A taxi into town cost R$20.

Dinner was lousy, though breakfast was okay, and the price felt far too high for what the hotel offers. There were only twelve people in the whole place, so it was boring. It's in a remote part of town with no public transport. The pool water was warm for just two hours a day, and even then we had to ask over and over for them to turn it on. We were given a lower-rated room than the one we expected to have paid for. We also have a signed reimbursement form, but despite repeated reminders, they still haven't reimbursed us. Even without that issue, there are better choices in town. Avoid it.

A peaceful place to stay, and a good one overall. I just wish there were more details about room service and things like the spa.
