The staff were polite and very attentive, and the cleaning was good. Breakfast on both days was modest but tasty. On the first morning I asked for tapioca and it was made with care; the second day I was told they couldn't make it because it wasn't on their schedule. The kitchen guests can use for preparing breakfast didn't seem very clean or pleasant. It looks like they share the leisure and breakfast areas with another pousada nearby, which seemed better; perhaps that's why Pousada Planeta Guarajuba hasn't been invested in and needs a full renovation. It's in a nice condominium, but far from the beach, and we hadn't been told that. The room was very poor, with old furniture, bad mattresses, worn bedding, and a terrible bathroom. The staff are the best part, but that isn't enough for the price they charge.

The room was basic, and there was only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. The shower sprayed everywhere except onto my head. Then at 8 a.m. on Sunday, they started garden maintenance with a drill and hammer. That was maddening when I'd paid to get some rest.

The common areas are lovely, and the place is in a quiet area that's easy to reach by car or bike. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Breakfast was okay, and the kitchen staff will make tapioca or a toasted ham and cheese sandwich if you ask. Good value for money.

The staff members Elison and Silmara were exceptionally helpful, and breakfast was very good. The place was clean, and there was good water flow from the taps and shower. A great value and a good place to stay. I'd recommend it.

The mattresses are in terrible shape and urgently need replacing. Breakfast was very limited too, with portions and choices kept far too restricted.
