Just be aware that the road is unpaved. The place itself is cozy and quiet, perfect if you’re looking for peace and calm.

The staff were extremely friendly and well organized, and breakfast was simple with limited variety, but everything served was really tasty. The setting is beautiful, with a gorgeous view and a calm, peaceful feel. The chalet we stayed in had a few unfinished details: the outside walls hadn’t been painted and the indoor floor wasn’t finished. Inside, there’s a living room with a fireplace, separate bedrooms without TVs, and a kitchen with a fridge and several pots in the cupboard. There’s also a barbecue in the yard, and having an outlet near the beds was great. It’s quite far from Monte Verde, at least 50 minutes away. The road there is entirely unpaved and full of potholes. At night or in the rain, the drive can take even longer.

This is a family-run place, and everyone working there was friendly and attentive. The chalet is secluded and peaceful, around 20 km from Monte Verde, with a lovely mountain view and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is wonderful: the owner sets out a table with cake, bread, cheese bread, juice, coffee, cheeses, and more. A heads-up about the drive: it’s about 20 km to Vila de Monte Verde, nearly an hour each way, along a rough dirt road. It had rained when we went, and even in a pickup truck the drive was difficult. There’s no internet or phone signal on the road, so if anything goes wrong you’ll have to wait for someone to come by and help. This isn’t a complaint about the chalet itself, just a warning about getting there.

The staff are so attentive, and breakfast is delicious. The trio with me is something else, haha, and the cat is such a sweetheart. I also picked up two strays around the area. They seemed fierce at first, until they started wagging their tails and wrecked my new shirt, lol.
