Aires de Patagônia Pousada

The setting is quiet and green, with a pond, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Breakfast is included and was delicious. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant serves first-class food with incredible flavors. Our room was the smallest one, so it was small and only got light through the door, though the bathroom was spacious and had a window.

After a long day of motorbiking, we arrived late and were warmly welcomed. We got to enjoy excellent food, and the rooms are very well equipped, even with heated floors.

We stayed in a cabin by the lake with a sauna, a huge bath, and big windows facing the water. At the main house, wood fires kept things cosy and warm. The setting is beautiful too, with all sorts of birds around the lake at sunset, fish popping out of the water, and trees covered in bromeliads and hanging moss. The food was exceptional. We had lamb, beef, and a kids' meal, all top quality, and the breakfast was just as good. We were there with our 7-year-old, two adults in all. We had some trouble with the fire starters and hot water. A bird had made its home in the heater, but the staff did a great job sorting it out. I'd suggest checking that everything in the cabin is working when you arrive.

A lovely place to slow down and enjoy the peace, with free-roaming horses and birds and ponds where you can even fish. They made all the fishing gear available to us. The owners were excellent and gave us great service. The food was very good, home-style cooking. A unique place.
