Ibis Styles Campina Grande

My main issue was the room size advertised in the official ALL (Accor Live Limitless) app. It lists the Standard Room as 25 m², but the room clearly didn’t match that. Architectural data I cross-referenced for the building puts standard rooms at 18 m², about 30% less space than the app promises. It felt cramped, and I strongly advise management to correct the listing. The hotel didn’t address the discrepancy in room size and type in its reply. I expected the modern feel usually associated with ibis Styles, but the property fell well short of what its online presentation suggested. This isn’t a purpose-built ibis: credit card charges still show “Marc Center Hotel,” pointing to its past as an independent hotel from the 1980s. The branding has changed, but the older infrastructure remains, with slow elevators and general maintenance problems. The industrial look, with exposed pipes, open metal shelves, and cement textures, comes across less as a deliberate design and more as an unfinished renovation in these old, small rooms. Guests pay for a modern brand but stay in a roughly 40-year-old building with a cosmetic makeover.
