The smell of mildew was awful, and the minibar was covered in mold. The furniture looked worn and definitely not luxurious. The bathroom shower enclosure wouldn't shut because rust had eaten away at the mechanism. The air conditioner was very loud and didn't work properly, while the TV only got two local channels. We'd said we were a couple, but they gave us a room with two single beds, and the sheets smelled bad. I've never had a worse stay. I was so relieved when morning came that I gave up on the second night. I couldn't have spent another night in that roadside hotel.

Titão Plaza Hotel is in a great location, and the rates are affordable, so it offers good value. Breakfast is just average, with a few choices, but enough to get the day started. The room furniture shows wear, including the AC unit. Room service and cleaning take too long and could be better, and toiletries need to be restocked more reliably. The hot water in the shower is sometimes inconsistent, so the heating system needs attention. Some renovations, daily maintenance checks, and more comfort would help. With those improvements, the hotel could make guests much happier.
