Hotel Taquaral

A terrible experience! We were met with a rude attitude because traffic delayed us and we didn't arrive at the estimated check-in time. After leaving an event late, we found ourselves locked outside. The owner, who was also the only employee, had asked us to be considerate about the time after 10 p.m., but that wasn't something we could control. Locking guests inside the hotel overnight also puts their physical safety at risk and violates their dignity and freedom of movement.

The breakfast was brought to our room at the time we wanted, carefully prepared according to what we asked for. I was treated incredibly well, with so much kindness and respect. It was the best experience I could have had in Campinas. Do come and see the place! Many thanks to José for such lovely service.

The physical facilities are good, clean, and well ventilated, and breakfast served in the room is great. The criticism I saw in the comments didn't match my experience, since the person who welcomed me gave excellent service. It's a simple, pleasant place, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for that. Congratulations to the establishment 👏🤝

The service was good and the room was OK, but it was unbearably stuffy, with not a bit of air moving. It made me feel short of breath, and the fan was just for show, making noise without moving any air. Update after the response: We did book the available room with two beds, but it felt like a sauna. I tried to go to my car, but the doors were locked, so I had to spend my night without rest in the reception. You should understand that this two-bed room can't be kept comfortable with only a ceiling fan that DOESN'T MOVE AIR. It feels like this is meant to force people to pay for two rooms. In the end, it will just get you more bad reviews, and your excuses are shameful.
