The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the rooms and facilities were nice. There's a rooftop pool, plus a complimentary breakfast buffet and a lunch buffet at reasonable prices. A grocery store and several restaurants are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

The restaurant was the best part of our stay by far. The staff there were kind, helpful, and engaging. Breakfast was outstanding, and we enjoyed two dinners, with good food, generous portions, and fair prices. They even helped us find a store where we could buy the cheeses served at the restaurant. We liked them so much that we drove an hour to get them. I'm not sure whether the restaurant is run by the hotel or independently, but it's a great addition to the property. The pool looks beautiful and has a nice view, but it was a mess. I jumped in before taking a closer look and found myself surrounded by floating green algae. Large green clumps were all over the water, and stepping on the pool floor stirred up more green material. I got out right away and showered. Nasty is the word for it. Our room was clean and cleaned daily, though it showed wear that needs attention. The sofa had snags, small tears, and stains in several places. I nearly felt I had to put a towel over it before sitting down. There was mold in the shower tile and grout that wouldn't come off, and grout was missing in a few spots. The hotel is showing its age and needs regular maintenance. I also found the front desk service very disappointing, especially given my first visit, which I praised in a review about four years ago. I worked my way through college in hotel roles, including desk clerk, front desk manager, night auditor, and guest services manager, so I know how much a good first impression matters. This time there was no greeting or smile when we arrived. The clerk stared at her screen and left us waiting for a few minutes, then helped us in a robotic way, without warmth or accommodation. The interactions throughout the stay made us feel like a bother. Even when we passed the desk entering or leaving, staff kept looking at their screens and ignored us. That's not acceptable in a service job. Customer service training and a little kindness would help. This was a very different experience from my first stay. Given how this visit went, it wasn't what I'd hoped for, and I'll certainly consider somewhere else when I'm next in Campinas.

I really enjoyed my stay in a safe neighborhood at this good Western-style hotel. They offered me a comfortable, clean two-room apartment with a nice view. The heated infinity pool on the 12th floor was a relaxing place to unwind. Breakfast was more continental in style, but everything on the buffet was fresh and good quality. All the employees were polite and helpful, which I really appreciated. I'll come back.

I had a really nice time here and would definitely recommend it.
