Pousada Alvorada

The good part was the attentive service from the family who work there. The accommodations are more like a simple inn, though, and the price is much higher than it feels worth. There's no minibar, the internet is poor or doesn't work, the bathroom is badly adapted, the old tube TV doesn't get clear channels, parking is almost nonexistent, and the shower is inconsistent. It's also in a distant neighborhood.

I travel for work and often stay in five-star hotels, but this place had everything a guest needs: a clean room and bathroom, hot water, a good bed, TV, air conditioning, and a closet. Downstairs there's a microwave and cutlery for anyone who wants to save money on frozen food. The staff are polite, attentive, and friendly. The price is great, and the hotel exceeded my expectations.

The receptionist was excellent, but the owner let the place down. He was extremely arrogant and didn't seem to care about his customers at all. There isn't enough garage space for everyone, so I had to leave my car on the street. I demanded my money back and went to another hotel.

It's a cozy place for anyone trying to spend less. The receptionist was wonderful, the room was very clean, the air conditioning worked really well, and there was hot water in the shower. I loved it and recommend it.
