Mayara, one of the staff, was lovely and very friendly. I had clean sheets and a clean room, a new A/C that cooled it well, and an excellent shower. I'd heard complaints about those things, but didn't run into those problems myself. The pillows weren't good, though nothing too serious, and breakfast was just okay. The big annoyance was having to get reception's authorization every time I wanted to enter or leave. Sometimes nobody was there, so I had to wait. I hated that and think the system needs a rethink. You can also hear people passing outside, which adds needless noise. I expected a hair dryer in the bathroom, so I didn't bring mine, but there wasn't one.
