Casinha Amarela

Staying at Casinha Amarela was a wonderful, refreshing experience. The decor was simple but cozy, and the view of a typical Campos do Jordão house was lovely.

I rented the Paris room, but the bed was awful. It had springs, and when I lay down it felt like I might suffocate. The room was cramped and small. They moved me to another suite, but it cost more than twice what I had paid for Paris. It was already late, so I had to accept. The bed in the new room was great and there was more space, but that was about it. It wasn't clean, there was no breakfast, and there's nothing nearby. Luckily I had a car. The parking is terrible.

We were treated very well, even though we arrived outside the scheduled check-in time. The team supporting Vanderlei was fantastic, and their friendly service and sightseeing tips were great. The place is clean, comfortable, and close to the area's attractions. It's a welcoming, convenient place with everything needed for a good stay, and the value is excellent. I've already recommended it to lots of friends and will definitely return. Congratulations on the accommodation!

I paid about 350 reais for three nights, split through Airbnb, which seemed like a great deal compared with other places. Check-in and check-out are digital, so the host doesn't have to be there to let you in. Vanderlei, who rented the place to us, was helpful and attentive, always answering my questions since it was my first time using Airbnb. I'd recommend it without hesitation and would stay at Casinha Amarela again if I return to Campos. The suites are well equipped, with a double bed, minibar, microwave, coat rack, towel warmer, hair dryer, small table, pillows, pillowcases, towels, and bed linen. I usually bring my own things when I travel. Our room didn't have a heater. We visited in April, when it wasn't freezing, and the lowest temperature was 11°, but one might be useful in high season, in June and July. The place is cozy, clean, well located, and, best of all, inexpensive. The main thing I'd improve is the bathroom. It needs a small renovation, including fixing the window, which wouldn't close, and making it more modern. It looks quite old, and the shower wires are very exposed, so I was worried about getting a shock. Apart from that, the shower heated well and didn't let us down, which is what matters in Campos' chilly weather.
