Hotel Casarão da Ducha

The breakfast was a highlight, with lots of great choices, including condensed milk pudding and lactose-free breads. The owners were very attentive, and the elevator worked well. We stayed in the Paris room, which had plenty of space, a balcony, a table and chair, somewhere to put our suitcase, hangers, a safe, a TV, a ceiling fan, a very comfortable bed, and soft pillows. The sheets smelled lovely too. My only complaint was that the shower could have had stronger water pressure, though it didn't change my rating. There's a soda museum inside the hotel with some interesting pieces, and a really nice medieval museum outside. The hotel is near Ducha de Prata and several shops. I drove to Capivari because it seemed more convenient.

The hotel is about 2 km, or a five-minute drive, from Vila Capivari. It's also right beside Ducha de Prata, close to Bosque do Silêncio, and on the way to Pico do Itapeva. The rooms were great, and although there’s no air conditioning, I didn't miss it even in summer. Sr. Toninho and his family make you feel at home. They're around and happy to share their best tips for the city. Breakfast was wonderful, and they also offer complimentary tea and hot chocolate in the afternoon. The place has a fascinating feel, with old object collections in the lobby and an impressive Museu Medieval on the property.

I really liked my stay and would come back. The room and bathroom were comfortable, everything was very clean, and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good too, and the location worked well. Great value for the price.

We stayed in the chalet, a separate, special room with great facilities. From reception to the people who look after the hotel, everyone seemed to care about the place and its guests. They were attentive and gave us tips on things to do and ways to save money in town when we arrived. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and the afternoon coffee and evening hot chocolate were a lovely extra. Hotel Casarão Da Ducha was a great find in Campos. You can book without worrying.
