Pousada Casa Mantiqueira

The beds smelled fresh and were comfortable, and the breakfast was really tasty. It’s a wonderful place for a family or a couple, with amazing service. I loved every minute and will be back soon.

The road to the inn is full of stones, so we had to drive very carefully. It really needs to be paved, though people with a higher vehicle like an SUV shouldn’t have trouble. The room was very good for three adults, with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Breakfast was very good too, with dishes prepared fresh to order from the menu. The staff were very friendly and welcomed my pet.

It was my second trip to Campos do Jordão and my second stay at Casa Mantiqueira. We came back because we were so impressed by the staff’s attention and service, and the breakfast was delicious too. Another great experience. We’ll keep recommending the inn!

Breakfast was tasty, and having scrambled eggs or an omelet made fresh was the best part. Still, I thought the price was WAY too high for the service, cleanliness, and facilities. We stayed at chalé Capim Cidreira this weekend, and it wasn’t a good experience. The room cleaning wasn’t up to scratch, the bathtub was a little dirty, and the old blankets and sheets looked aged. The blankets didn’t smell fresh or look clean. It was very cold the first night, and no one was at reception. I messaged the number they gave us to ask for extra blankets, but got no reply, so we spent the night cold. The next evening we asked them to light the fireplace and again got no response on WhatsApp. My husband had to go to reception to ask in person.
