Top-notch.

The views are great, and the place itself is beautiful, especially the breakfast area. We chose it for the concept and its potential, but there are several things that need attention. We’re sharing this as constructive criticism so things can improve and other guests don’t run into the same problems. The first room had a strong mold smell, a noisy wall fan, and a lot of maintenance issues. There were holes in the wooden door frames, torn curtains in the downstairs apartment, rotten or missing exterior wood that someone could trip over, and ripped upholstery on the hanging chairs. The downstairs mattresses urgently need replacing. They sagged in the middle and we couldn’t sleep well. After we raised these concerns, we were moved to an upstairs room that was better, though it still had a window with no lock and exposed wiring on the light fixture. The panoramic tubs also lack privacy because you can see other rooms. Breakfast on the first day was disappointing. Some things didn’t seem fresh, and a sweet pastry had sticky strands when cut. It was better the next day. There doesn’t need to be a huge selection, but the food should be good quality. One woman in the kitchen wasn’t very friendly. On the other hand, the staff member we think was Cíntia or Jéssica was attentive and helpful, and really made a difference. The place has a lot of potential, but needs more care and regular maintenance.

We loved our stay at Pousada. It was part of a surprise for my wife, and everything was so organized. The service was excellent, and they took such good care of us and made us feel at home. We’d recommend it and will definitely come back.

The breakfast was the best I’ve had, with lots of choices. The chicken croissant was so good I wanted to take one home. Our room had a heater, which we really needed because it gets very cold. The location up in Alto Capivari is great and close to the center, but you’ll need a car because it’s a steep walk. We went for our honeymoon, and it felt special from the first day. There were rose petals on the bed when we arrived. Cinthia was always helpful with everything we needed, and the whole place was cared for down to the smallest details. At night, just ask and she’ll light the fireplace. We had to leave early and lost a night, though we would have loved to stay longer and even checked the price. I loved it all and don’t regret a thing. I’d like to come back with my family.
