Pousada FM

I visited in August 2022 and liked it so much that I thought about coming back this year. I’d forgotten to leave a review, so I came to Google to find the pousada again. It’s simple but very cozy, with excellent service and a great location. Walk about three streets and you’re already in the center.

It’s a simple pousada, but fair for the price. The service, cleanliness, and especially the little details were impeccable. I celebrated my wife’s birthday and asked for a cake in the room with balloons and things like that. They got creative and helped with the surprise, then gave her a small gift as well. Great value, a great location, and impeccable service. I highly recommend it and will keep coming back.

The location is excellent, just a 5 minute walk from Centro Capivari, about 280.0 m away. From the Pousada FM, we took an unforgettable trip to Parque Amantikir with the guide Marcondes, who’s a wonderful, warm person and charges the fairest price. My wife and I were warmly welcomed by the owner, Mr. Milton, his son Augusto, and their staff member Anderson. They were all helpful, discreet, and friendly, and made us feel at home. Thanks to everyone at Pousada FM for the hospitality. My wife and I will be back soon.

One tip: check ticket prices for the places you want to visit ahead of time. Sometimes you don’t realize until you arrive, and some spots charge 10 or 30 reais per person even when they don’t seem all that special. I’ve just checked out after a great stay. The reception was excellent, and the breakfast had lots of good options. There’s a fridge for your drinks, a microwave, and a griddle for bread. The rooms are great, and it usually gets cold at night, so you don’t need to bring a fan. It’s near Capivari’s best spots, including the center, cable car, park, and restaurants. The local chocolate and sweets were amazing. I’ve never seen a place with so much good chocolate.
