Pousada Mansão Edelweiss

We loved our weekend stay at Mansão. We were warmly welcomed, shown all the rooms, and given a full explanation of everything. The place is extremely tidy, clean, and charming. The photos don't show just how beautiful it is. The man who greeted us and the cook were both so hospitable; we felt right at home. We'll definitely return and recommend it to our friends. As an extra, guests can use the shared facilities at another hotel in the same chain, including a hot tub, heated pool, and gym.

We arrived to find a bathroom with a painted shower floor, and there was no water when we went to wash our hands after the trip. The gate kept getting stuck, and guests are the ones responsible for opening it. The pictures make everything look lovely, but the house itself needs renovation. You check in at another nearby hotel in the same chain, then have to make your own way to the annex. Honestly, it was nothing like we expected and a huge disappointment.

Mr. Antonio welcomed us and gave us the initial instructions, and he really made a difference. He's incredible, friendly, and caring, so we felt wanted and well received. The hotel is beautiful, and the service was great. I already recommended it to everyone, and the weekend was well worth it. A few small repairs inside would help. The bathtub in our room was under maintenance, the bathroom wall was getting moldy, the door between the bathroom and bedroom wouldn't lock, and some outlets had loose connections.

I seriously felt right at home! The place is beautiful, and Mr. Antônio's service is excellent. The breakfast he prepared was wonderful. I'll definitely come back again.
