When I first visited this city, I stayed here. The owners were wonderful, and it’s a lovely place to enjoy your visit.

The location was great, close to Capivari, with a market nearby. It made cooking or fixing breakfast with fresh bread easy, and I felt right at home. Sr. Fernando welcomed us so warmly, and André and Branca were also very helpful by message. Branca even shared sightseeing tips. I’d definitely recommend it and will come back! We had a wonderful weekend. The chalet was large, clean, and cozy, with two suites that comfortably fit our family of five adults. There was hot water at every faucet, which was lovely in the cold weather, plus warm blankets, a heater, and great kitchen equipment, including an electric coffee maker and sandwich press. Campos do Jordão is lovely in its own right, too.

Everyone was attentive and available, and Senhora Branca and Suzana shared tips and itineraries for all kinds of outings, which made planning easier. The place has five chalets for couples, if I remember right, and it’s close to everything you might need. The center is quick to reach, by car or on foot. We stayed in the best chalet, which was super comfortable and can fit a family of up to seven. They arrange things to suit the number of guests. There are two bedrooms with double beds, a bunk bed, and a single bed, with a suite in each room. We had everything we needed for a perfect weekend in a perfect city. It’s also pet friendly, which was great for our pets. They had freedom to run, play, and explore while staying safe and protected. The family village atmosphere made us feel at home, in a peaceful place in a beautiful city. We’ll definitely return. Rogério, Isabela and Amanda❤️🌻

André gave us a very warm, attentive welcome. We stayed at Vila Báltica’s Saarema chalet, two suites with a kitchen and living room together, and it worked well for a family. The place was organized, the bed and bath linens were clean and smelled fresh, and the kitchen had good equipment for making breakfast. It’s 2 km from parque capivari. A few things could be better: the bathrooms are extremely small, the internet has no signal, and the TV isn’t smart and only gets three channels. Since we had a child with us, we missed having any cartoon channels. Even so, I highly recommend it.

We brought our small dog, and Dona Branca and Petit, her very gentle and well-mannered dog, welcomed her warmly. There’s private parking, and for us the value was worthwhile, especially for a weekend when you don’t need to bring much. I stayed in chalé lilás in May 2023. It’s conveniently placed for visiting Campos do Jordão, but very compact. There’s little room for luggage or other travel items. The only spot is an upstairs ledge above the stairs, about 1.0 x 0.7 mt. Once we put the bedspread, duvet, and our bags there, almost nothing else fit. For a long trip with suitcases, that was tricky. The bed is a Queen upstairs, reached by a wooden staircase. Downstairs, there’s an electric floor heater. The chalet has the basics for a stay without much comfort, which matches the price: a fridge, two-burner stove, electric coffee maker, sandwich press, microwave, sink, small table, stools, 18-inch non-smart TV, sofa, a coil of cable used as a coffee table, and basic kitchen utensils for meals and snacks. The bathroom has an electric shower and sink faucet. There’s nowhere to hang clothes, not even hangers, just a freestanding rack for coats, beanies, or hats. The internet has lots of access points and repeaters, but they’re unstable. We could hardly get a signal upstairs. Since the chalets share walls, sound insulation is poor and you can hear everything said next door. The place is pet friendly, but it felt like a dollhouse to us if we stayed inside too long. We came to see the city, though, not to spend time in the room, so it was good value for a short stay.
