The food was a real highlight, both breakfast and the afternoon coffee were generous, fresh, varied, and good quality. The gym was well equipped, tidy, and maintained, so it was easy to keep up with workouts. The hotel itself was quiet, and the policy of not accepting children under 8 helped keep it restful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the facilities were clearly well looked after. Everyone on the team was attentive and cordial. There was one small hiccup: the “do not disturb” sign was taken off the outside of our door, and the room was cleaned anyway. It didn’t spoil a very good stay. I’d recommend the hotel and would come back.

This was my third stay at Villa Amistà. It’s in Capivari, just a short walk from the shops and restaurants, and the inn has a calm, elegant look throughout its shared spaces and suites. There’s also secure parking and a small garden. The room felt cozy and had everything I needed, including Trousseau linens, towels, and toiletries. Chef Fernanda’s breakfast was delicious, with a great choice of dishes and something new each day. The music playing in the background made it even nicer. Afternoon tea is included and served from 5 to 7 pm, and guests can get hot drinks from a machine throughout the day. The staff are so kind that you really feel at home.

The room was excellent and really comfortable, with a heated bathroom floor, an electric towel warmer, and Trousseau sheets on the bed. The place lives up to its “your home away from home” motto. We were celebrating our honeymoon, which I’d mentioned in the reservation, and they left us a note and fondue in the room. After the trip, the complimentary afternoon tea was a lovely, relaxing welcome. Breakfast the next morning surprised me with the quality of the ingredients, including detox juice, chia cream, assorted fruit, and even an immunity shot. There were less usual treats too, like special sweet tarts and eggs in a nest. A really high standard of stay.
