The restaurant is amazing and a must if you’re in Campos do Jordão. The hotel keeps the charm and authenticity of Campos, while being easy to reach on paved streets and not far from the city centre. The attention to detail stood out everywhere, from the amuse bouche to the “travel kit” with water at checkout. The room and shower were great, and tea and cake were always available in the fireplace room. Everyone was attentive. The sauna and pool overlooking the woods are amazing, but now need to be booked in advance because only two people can use them at a time.

The space is beautiful and open, which felt ideal for covid times. The menu is small but has something to cover all bases, and the food was incredible. The chef came over to our table and was happy to accommodate our allergy-related requests.

This is a lovely, attractive, and secure place, with furnishings and a structure that bring to mind old mansions from the era of the “Barons.” The suites are excellent and comfortable, with a fireplace-style heater, always-warm bathroom floors, and a strong shower with a pleasant temperature. The linens and towels are very good quality. Service is excellent. There’s also an attached Italian restaurant, which takes reservations.
