The service just wasn't okay.

The Sunday all-inclusive brunch was one of the highlights of our trip. The chef did a wonderful job, with a delicious spread of breads, quiches, sweets, coffee, juice, yogurt, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, crackers, and calabresa. I’ve traveled all over the world, and in my late 30s, this was the most wonderful and pleasant stay of my life. I highly recommend this place for privacy and romance. The staff are amazing and caring. From arrival, the family welcomes you and pays close attention to your needs and little details. We stayed in the Premier Suite in La Vie, one of the three buildings on the property. They showed us around the room and explained how everything worked. There’s a very spacious hot tub for two with great jets, plus a balcony overlooking the mountainside with a beautiful view. The bathroom has a roomy shower, a window for ventilation, good quality organic shampoo, conditioner and soap, and a hair dryer. The king-size bed was comfortable and spacious. The mini fridge comes stocked with beer, water, and Coca-Cola. Keep in mind the driveway down to the parking area is very steep, so you need to feel confident driving your car on it.

This is our second stay here, and we’re having another wonderful experience. We recommend Pousada Caminho das Pedras if you want a special stay, some peace and quiet, and service that really makes an impression. The team is thoughtful in every detail, from the warm welcome to the small gestures that surprise us. Breakfast feels like an event of its own: a gorgeous view, a peaceful setting, and impeccable service from Rose. The scrambled eggs, the house specialty, make us want to linger at the table and enjoy every minute. It’s a place to rest your body and renew your soul. ✨

The view is a spectacle all on its own, and the facilities are new, beautifully decorated, cozy, and clean. Breakfast was plentiful, with a variety of breads, cold cuts, and coffee, and the little lion egg was delicious. The women serving us were impeccably polite. We were welcomed warmly and attentively at reception. While we checked in, they served homemade cake and coffee. A wonderful, flawless stay! We’ll definitely be back.
